This is a strategic factor, and it’s also a moving target. Often I have someone list a home for sale with me, but it hasn’t gone into the Multiple Listing Service yet because of Preparation. I often to not put a definite price to a home until it’s ready to launch into the Multiple Listing System. Pricing all depends on what the prices are at the moment you go into the market, comparable homes in the area, new listing, new pending sales, and inventory. Pricing is a very important component of the marketing of your home, so make sure that your REALTOR is keeping you updated with the current trends and fluctuations in the market.
